CEO + Board Member
John is the Chief Executive Officer of PlayMaker. He previously served as CEO of Professional Healthcare (acquired by Kindred Healthcare), where he led a massive expansion effort that quadrupled sales. He was also in charge of a large operation at Pacific Pulmonary, leading his team in 36 straight months of patient growth.
Before entering the world of post-acute care, John began his career in Tunica, MS as a high school English teacher with Teach for America. He holds a BA in English and Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.
John lives in Northern California with his wife and three kids. Whenever possible, he enjoys beating himself up on the weekends by competing in Spartan races.
President, Founder + Board Member
Adam has helped thousands of home care agencies achieve extraordinary sales growth and profitability through the use of his innovative and proven power marketing and sales strategies.
Holly has over 15 years of healthcare and technology sales experience. Prior to joining PlayMaker, she served as Associate Vice President of Sales, Non-Acute & Medical Technologies at HealthStream, a company that provides workforce development, patient experience, and provider solutions for the healthcare industry. In this role Holly was responsible for developing and executing a sales and market strategy to both launch and expand HealthStream’s solutions across the Non-Acute and Medical Technology markets. While there, she demonstrated a consistent track record of exceeding sales expectations and achieving record-breaking growth.
Holly earned her bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Middle Tennessee State University.
Gregg Boyle manages a team of forward-thinking software engineers and mobile developers responsible for creating the next wave of post-acute healthcare sales solutions. He previously served as VP of Analytics and Chief Strategy Officer at Qualifacts, where he co-led the development of the leading enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider for the behavioral health and human services market. Prior to Qualifacts, Gregg served as Director of Enterprise Technology for WebMD/Emdeon’s Business Services division, where he was responsible for the creation of Emdeon’s next-generation technology platform.
He has held a number of board-level and advisory roles in the healthcare technology space, including being a mentor for the Healthbox startup accelerator program. Additionally, Gregg is an active member of Health Level 7 (HL7) and the federal Standards and Interoperability (S&I) framework group.
Gregg studied Computer Science at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, with a focus on data security.
VP, Client Success
Anthony Miranda, Vice President of Client Success, manages client onboarding, EMR integrations, training, technical support, and account management. He brings a wealth of post-acute care knowledge and experience to PlayMaker, including six years as Vice President of Operations for Professional Healthcare (Home Health, Hospice and Private Duty), which was acquired by Kindred Healthcare in 2011. Anthony holds a ScB. in Applied Math-Economics from Brown University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife, daughter and son.
VP, Finance & People
Rachel Vincion, Vice President of Finance & People, is passionate about elevating company culture and cultivating an atmosphere where every employee is engaged and given an opportunity to be successful. She has over 20 years of experience in leading transformative and goal-oriented operations, and provides strategic financial guidance and vision for the leadership team. Throughout her career, Rachel has demonstrated a track-record of improving the financial stability of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) organizations. She previously served as Vice President of Finance & HR at Qualifacts, a Behavioral Health and Human Services EHR Platform.
Rachel earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Saint Mary’s College of California. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her son, reading, and playing golf.
Senior Director of Product
Jennifer is our Senior Director of Product, guiding the product strategic vision to further evolve the mobile and web application and integrations. She brings with her a wealth of product development and strategy knowledge.
Before joining PlayMaker, Jennifer was VP of Product for Brooks Bell, Inc., a testing, optimization, and personalization consulting and services firm. She also helped to build and market solutions for independent artists as VP of Business Operations and Marketing for ReverbNation.
Prior to earning an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, Jennifer worked in financial management and consulting for the technology industry. She earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the College of William and Mary.
VP, Enterprise Architecture
As Vice President of Enterprise Architecture, Larry manages the administrative network at PlayMaker and is the technical resource for integrations, migrations, and TargetWatch. He brings extensive experience writing software and managing technology architecture, particularly for the healthcare space. Prior to joining PlayMaker, Larry was instrumental in developing a medication management supply chain software and systems for long term care as part of Daverci. He also served as CTO of Aivea from 2008–2010. Before entering the world of information technology, Larry was a firefighter and EMT, where he was exposed to a great deal of emergency healthcare service. Larry holds a BA in Organizational Management from Alaska Pacific University and an MS in Computer Information Systems from University of Phoenix. When he's not working on coding solutions, he enjoys spending time with his family. An avid outdoorsman, he looks forward to camping trips in his home state of Alaska.
Senior Director of Implementation
Having been one of PlayMaker’s first employees back in 2008, Sean brings a wealth of knowledge about our clients, industry, product, and process to the team. In his role as Senior Director of Implementation, he leads both the onboarding and integration teams within the Client Success department. He strives to deliver both happiness and long-term value to clients through the implementation process and beyond.
Sean lives in Toronto, Canada with his wife and two daughters. He also serves as a board advisor for Alayacare, a Toronto-based healthcare start-up. When he’s not traveling, Sean enjoys spending quality time with his family.
Director of Marketing + Communications
As Director of Marketing & Communications, Seth is responsible for all aspects of corporate branding, multi-tiered marketing campaigns, and engaging media communications. He began his career with BFG Communications, a creative agency in South Carolina, where he had the opportunity to work on projects for a variety of global brands, including Warner Brothers, Disney, and Diageo Spirits.
After relocating to Nashville, Seth worked as a content developer for PureSafety (now part of UL’s Workplace Health and Safety), where he created interactive training modules for companies looking to streamline safety and compliance education. Seth holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art and Design. Away from the office, he enjoys reading, writing music, and spending time with his family and friends.
Director of Client Success
John has dedicated his work efforts to the Customer Relationship Management industry for more than 20 years. He has written articles and led seminars on CRM. His blended knowledge of CRM best practices along with home care sales and marketing ensures that every client becomes a reference.
Board of Directors
C. Jason Payne is a founder of Mainsail Partners. In addition to co-managing the firm, Jason is an active advisor to Mainsail CEOs through his role as a board member for Mainsail’s portfolio companies. Jason’s background as an entrepreneur and senior executive provides valuable experience, which he shares with management teams making the transition from bootstrapping to investing for growth.
Earlier in his career, Jason co-founded a venture-backed software company and held a variety of roles with American Dental Partners, a dental practice management company now owned by JLL Partners after a 2012 take-private. During his tenure with ADPI, Jason helped grow the business from start-up to over $130 million in revenues and through its 1998 IPO. Jason began his career with Summit Partners, a leading global private equity and venture firm. Jason received an A.B. in International Relations from Stanford University. Jason also sits on the advisory board of the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC), a division of the Smithsonian Institute, and enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
Vinay Kashyap joined Mainsail Partners in 2013 and is responsible for leading new growth equity investments. Vinay has been investing in bootstrapped software, technology-enabled services and healthcare technology companies since 2006. His investment and board experience includes SQL Sentry, PlayMaker, Zen Planner and Steelwedge.
Prior to Mainsail, Vinay worked at Summit Partners, a private equity and venture capital firm, where he sourced, executed and supported over $200 million of growth equity investments across North America and Europe. Before that, Vinay worked at Deloitte and Citigroup.
Vinay received his A.B in Economics from Bowdoin College, where he was captain of the men’s varsity lacrosse team, and an M.B.A from Harvard Business School. Vinay enjoys snowboarding, surfing, and reading and supports Arsenal F.C. and the N.Y. Giants.
Wayne has played a key leadership role in the success of several game changing organizations in the digital information space. Prior to joining DoubleVerify as CEO and President in 2012, Wayne was CEO and President of WebMD--the most recognized brand of health & wellness information. Under Wayne’s 10-year leadership WebMD significantly expanded its revenues and profitability into one of the world’s preeminent web properties with a market cap over $3 billion.
Wayne held previous management positions in several high growth public companies including Medco Health Solutions, MCI Telecommunications and People PC. Wayne holds an MBA from St. Joseph’s University and a BS from Drexel University LeBow College of Business in Philadelphia. In addition to PlayMaker CRM, he serves on the Board of Directors for HealthGrades and the Advisory Boards for Drexel University College of Medicine and LeBow College of Business.
Judy has served with acumen and foresight as founder and CEO of both private and publicly traded home care companies. This industry-based knowledge, along with a background in nursing, has enabled her to design and implement a unique "outside the box" approach to coaching and consulting.
