For me, I wouldn’t want to go into a market that I wasn’t familiar with, or even focus on a market I am familiar with, without having this as a tool to guide me to the opportunities. PlayMaker CRM’s TargetWatch really helps us make sure we are concentrating our marketing efforts on referral sources that have the highest potential. We have had substantial referral growth since fully implementing PlayMaker. As we are able to monitor performance more accurately and measure it, we have seen referrals grow at least 6-and-a-half percent higher than last year. We are using it for more accurate information to measure marketer performance, and also to monitor contact referrals. We are able to review the marketers’ calendars in order to support their efforts and provide needed advice. The staff loves it for a number of reasons. They have real-time information about their referral sources and can promptly follow up. It’s been very helpful in targeting new business because I can take a look at the referral trends and see who has not referred over a certain period of time. One of our goals was to establish at least 50 new referral sources by utilizing PlayMaker data and working with the staff, and we did. We exceeded that quite a bit. The TargetWatch feature, which we added this year, has helped us to develop new strategies in marketing to referral sources using market share data.

It’s really helped us manage our referral volume and gives us a better idea of where our referrals are coming from and helped us focus on those sources we need to go after. Having a program that’s tailor-made for home health versus an off-the-shelf program has really proven to be beneficial for us. I love the Mobile app. I think the biggest benefit to our team is to have the accounts listed right on their phone. They can just click the box and check the note and it automatically appears on their calendar. I would promote that app any day to other home health agencies. The sales reps find it very easy to use and it saves them time throughout the day to not have to sign into the computer to log their calls. It’s nice it has their previous visit notes as well so they can look up and see if there’s anything they need to follow up on.

PlayMaker CRM allows our managers to keep up with information that they had not been able to in the past. Before, there were inconsistencies in the data that was gathered. It was a nightmare trying to match up referrals in our clinical software versus what our marketers were doing, but now they’re keeping up with referrals and admissions in PlayMaker.
